I am officially obsessed with all things sparkly these days. Metallic wallpapers have been hot on my radar for awhile now and I have been thinking off new designs to create that will show off that bit of sparkle without being tacky or overwhelming.
 
Awhile back while hanging out with the family, I was browsing through some wallpaper samples for inspiration (told ya- obsessed). In that sample package, there was this really amazing malachite print wallpaper, yes malachite!  I was so inspired!
 
So, here you have some gorgeous metallic wallpapers to add to your home. You will be amazed what a little glam can add to your pad.  

The GP&J Baker wallpaper from the Emeror’s Garden range has a reflective silver background which picks up the light and adds real wow factor to the room.

Inside Erinn Valencich's Tranquil Beverly Hills Bedroom

Decorator, furniture designer, wedding guru — you may have also seen her on TV. Her shimmering Beverly Hills bedroom would make anyone feel like a star.

Jane Margolies: When I see you on HGTV, you're so full of energy. Do you just bound out of bed in the morning?

Erinn Valencich: Actually I hit snooze, roll over, and sleep for another half-hour. My bed is so comfortable!

And beautiful. It's one of three beds in your furniture collection. What inspired the design?

Morocco was one influence. I wanted a sculptural headboard that would feel modern and elegant. The antiqued mirror and silver leaf give it the look of oyster shell. I'm sick of fully upholstered headboards.

The colors are so tranquil — seafoamy blue-green, ivory, that soft metallic gold. Yet I know you're not color-shy.

I like a softer bedroom, even with dark colors. My last bedroom was deep purple, lavender, and gray. This room has lots of light, so I played off that.

Isn't mixing silver and gold tricky?

Gold and silver are totally fine together. I wouldn't put a gold faucet in a bathroom that has a lot of silver door handles. But otherwise I don't think it matters. We wear black and navy today, and that used to be a no-no.
