I don’t know about y’all but I have been a long time watcher of American Pickers. I LOVE Mike and Frank (two average guys with lots of knowledge of vintage and antique) rattling around the country in their truck going through junk to serious collectors things to find treasures for their clients.

I have been a trash to treasure girl from way back, hitting yardsales with my grandmother and hauling things back my parents would sometimes cringe at. I never found it too intimidating to turn on my Dad’s power tools or grab a paint brush and start painting something or re-purposing an item. And that is why I really LOVE the new shows that bring rustic old things and make them into something unique and useful.
You will have to check out Picker Sisters and find their FB page here and newly, and recently the Junk Gypsies (who I absolutely ADORE) and you can find their site here. These are girls that can rock some amazing transitions from really cool junk that they find. Its is incredible and all the pieces are so cool and unique.
This Rustic bed with Vintage bookcase headboard is a great example of upcycling (making an ordinary vintage item into something better than it’s original purpose).
This Sofa is the perfect blend of modern and picked.
Pretty storage for an office or craft room and LOOK you can use Customized Walls!
